he has awesome work by the way, and the most fantastic mustache I have ever seen.
I felt so lucky, because one of the two pieces I made, was done the day of, an hour before the deadline. Many of the submissions were not accepted, and I felt so lucky that both of mine were accepted.
And then the piece that I did an hour before won 2nd best in show....oh my lord.....there was no way I saw that one coming. Got a cash prize (woohoo!) and a free workshop this summer (I get to take one from my favorite teacher). Also I had an offer and sold it to a friend of mine.
Also got a marketing suggestion to the dress I made for the Trashion show (fashion made out of secondhand/recycled materials).
woot woot!
It was a good night.
